District Court Judge
Judge Schum, who resides in Delta County, Colorado, was appointed as Combined Court Magistrate in 1996. As a combined court magistrate, he handled all types of cases in both County and District Court. In July, 2005, he was appointed as a District Court Judge. Prior to his appointment, Judge Schum practiced law in Delta County. He was recently recognized as outstanding employee of the 7th Judicial District.
