County Court Judge
Judge Mitchel, who resides in Montrose, Colorado, was appointed as Montrose County Judge in June, 2000. As a county judge, he handles traffic and misdemeanor criminal trials, civil cases under $15,000, restraining orders, felony preliminary hearings and some felony sentencings. Judge Mitchel also presides as Acting District Judge for drug court in Montrose and Delta counties.
