District Court Judge
Judge Herron was appointed the District Court Bench on February 13, 2007 by Gov. Bill Ritter. Prior to his appointment as a district judge, Judge Herron had been the Magistrate for the 7th Judicial District beginning in April 2006. Judge Herron is a resident of Delta and has practiced law on the Western Slope of Colorado for many year. Judge Herron is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Law.
Judge Herron practiced law in both the public and private sector. He has experience in the appellate courts, as a private practitioner, and with the Office of Alternate Defense Counsel for the State of Colorado.
