The Collections Investigator (CI) is responsible for collection of court ordered fines, fees, costs and restitution. Defendants who do not pay assessed amounts immediately must contact the CI to discuss payment of their balance. Defendants must provide financial information to the CI to determine if they are eligible for a payment plan. Defendants will either be informed that they do not qualify and must pay their balance in full within two business days or a payment plan will be established.

Collections FAQ's
If I have court fines, fees, costs, or restitution to pay, what do I do?
All monies assessed by the Court are due and payable that day. If you are absolutely unable to pay in full, you MUST contact the Collections Investigator in the respective court IMMEDIATELY to discuss your situation. You must provide a detailed financial application for the CI to determine if you are eligible for a payment plan.
What do I do if I can't get my driver's license renewed or reinstated because of unpaid fines?
Contact the CI in the court where your case was handled to determine what you owe. The balance owed must be paid in full to clear your license for renewal or reinstatement.
If I am the victim of a crime and the defendant was ordered to pay me back for injuries or damages, how do I collect my money?
Contact the CI to find out the status of the case. The defendant will be ordered to pay the amount owed into the court registry. The court then sends the restitution to the designated victim(s).
